About Us

Our aim is to help you find a way to best enjoy the water.
That may be by swimming more efficiently or faster; finding out more about sea, river or loch swimming; trying out different strokes; overcoming your fear of the water, jellyfish, or seaweed; finding new friends to swim with; discovering the joys of night swims, ice swims, jumping in or even joining us on a wee swim trip adventure

A wee bit about Debbie

I can’t remember a time that I haven’t swum, although never competitively. I’ve always dabbled in outdoor swimming but it’s in the past 14 years that I’ve been swimming outdoors regularly all year round. I left a career in midwifery 19 years ago to become a swimming teacher, and have gone on to become a volunteer triathlon coach, an open water swim coach, an Aquaphobia coach and a voluntary Mental Health Swims host. I’m Autism Swim approved and also Deaf Friendly certified. I love nothing more than helping others discover the joys of being in the water, whether that’s indoors or outside. Building someone’s confidence gives me such joy.
